At GSI we design and utilize a Strategic Plan for the grove. This utilizes the collective knowledge of management regarding the future productivity of the grove, while taking into consideration changes in the industry.
Our Story
Located on 28375 S.W. 197th Avenue in South Miami-Dade, GSI provides grove management and harvesting services for 1,500 acres throughout the southern Miami-Dade County area.
The late Herman Lucerne established Grove Service Inc., of Miami in 1966. Mark Philcox started working at GSI in 1972 as a tractor operator. Mark became General Manager in 1977. Mark and his wife purchased the company from Herman Lucerne in 1984. Together they manage the day-to-day operation. GSI is now one of the leading grove management and harvesting companies in South Florida
